Tim Carlin serves as the Technology Director for the Wayne School District. He has been working in the computer and telecommunication field for over twenty years. During this time, he has held a number of leadership positions working as an architect/designer, an information systems manager, a consultant, a network/system engineer and as a teacher/trainer.
He did his undergraduate work at Rutgers University and his graduate work at Columbia University. Mr. Carlin has held senior positions with AT&T, Toys R US, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte and Touche and Vanguard Investments. He worked for six years as the Director of Academic Computing at William Paterson University.
He brings his depth of experience, technical skills and management capabilities to his current position where he supports the administration and management operations as well as the district's instructional and learning activities and its educational mission.
