John Maso was appointed as the new Facilities Manager for the Wayne Public School District. He is scheduled to begin his duties on November 23, 2009.

Mr. Maso has a Bachelor of Science Degree in business management and administration from the State University of New York. He holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Maso, arrives with over 28 years of experience. He is a skilled tradesman with a background in carpentry and construction, is a licensed locksmith in N.J. and N.Y. and holds a fire/burglar alarm license in N.J. as well.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and management skill to Wayne, having served as the Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Physical Plant at Kean University, Executive Director of Facilities, Public Safety and Campus Planning at Raritan Valley Community College, and Facilities Manager at Stevens Institute of Technology.
