Congratulations go to Mrs. Woodruff's fourth grade class and Mrs. Vietri's second grade class for winning the Movie/Popcorn time in the Media Center! 

We have now begun the Spring PTO sponsored reading incentive program where students will be reading to earn "scoops" of ice cream!  Each "scoop" will build their classes cone taller and hopefully will result in some towering Ice Cream Cones!   We will be having the annual ice cream party on April 22 for anyone who earned at least one scoop during this time.

Fifth Grade Book Club

 Our next book club meeting will be on March 18th.  We are currently reading Jeanne DuPrau's "City of Ember".  YOU CAN HELP.  Please help your child find a copy of the book at the local library.   Even if they have limited copies, they can do inter-library loan.  Limited copies are available at the APT library.

Lastly, I just wanted to let all parents know that the Media Center will be running overdue notices every month.  The purpose of sending overdue notices is simply to keep up with the collection and doing this monthly will prevent the note coming home in June that a book has been overdue since September!  I hope this helps everyone know what books they have out.
