W.I.S.E. 4 News

W.I.S.E. 4 students have been so busy this year. Remember the Rubik's Cube craze? Each student showcased their use of "callouts" and formatting skills to produce a Toy Timeline. The Macy's Day Parade Department invited students to write letters suggesting a new parade balloon for next year...tune in to find out which idea was chosen. Our upcoming project will help students practice budgeting skills with the use of Microsoft Excel and the AutoSum feature, as they complete their Holiday Shopping Project for a fictitious family with a budget of $800. Stay tuned for more exciting projects!

W.I.S.E. 5 News

W.I.S.E. 5 students are diligently working to complete the various components of their Career Project, which will be showcased to the fifth grade classes after the holiday break. This project provides them with invaluable skills in choosing a career, learning interview skills, reading classified ads, and creating their resumes. Students have been using the Notes feature for their original PowerPoint presentation that features their research and displays their talents for formatting slides and inserting graphics and animation. These wonderful students will be more than ready for the competitive job market!
