It is hard to believe that the school year has come to an end.  What a huge success third grade has been.  We had so much fun learning.  Our research projects were absolutely amazing.  Our writing skills have improved so much.  You have all become "Great American Authors."  We also  had a wonderful time with our reading theme parties.  Our  holiday program, "Star Spangled Holiday," will never be forgotten.        Last but not least, our traditional field trip to Sandy Hook is always great.  We have so many third grade memories and more to come as we continue our education at Fallon School.  A special thank you to all of our parents for their wonderful support.        Have a fantastic summer!

Below please find the supply suggestions for students entering into the third grade:

The Following is the List for Mrs. Polizzottos Class

Dear Parents/Guardians,

              Welcome to Mrs. Polizzotto’s third grade class.  I am very excited about going back to school and I hope you are too.  This is going to be a great year and we will have a lot of fun getting to know one another.

              Here is a wish list of supplies:

• backpack
• pencils
• one pocket folder
• a marking pen or highlighter for proofreading and correcting
• one five subject notebook
• scissors
• erasers
• glue stick
• pack of crayons

Numbers 8, 9, and 10 will be provided however sometimes the students like to have their own.  I would like to discourage large pencil cases and Trapper Keepers.

Here is a list of materials your child will need to be organized in September:

• 4 one-subject notebooks (No multi-subject notebooks or binders please)
• 2 two pocket folders
• 2 sharpened number 2 pencils
• 1 marking pen
• 1 highlighter
• 1 glue stick
• 1 zipper pencil case-KEEP IT SMALL ENOUGH SO IT CAN TO FIT INSIDE OF THE DESK
• You might also like to have your own crayons, colored pencils, scissors etc., although we will have these supplies in our class. Remember to clearly label any of these items with your child’s name.
