The Lions of Lafayette!
In the home of the brave, in the land of the free
There is a school named for a French Marquis
He helped us to win our Revolutionary War
So they built this school to honor him in 1954!
We are the lions, we are the lions
We are the lions of Lafayette
What you have taught us we never will forget
We are the lions of Lafayette
Every day we come here to learn, have fun and play
And we wouldn’t have it any other way
Helping one another in everything we do
With our teachers and our parents we can make our dreams come true!
We are the lions, we are the lions
We are the lions of Lafayette
What you have taught us we never will forget
We are the lions of Lafayette
We are part of a wonderful T.E.A.M.
A better school you’ll never find and this we truly mean
There is a philosophy at our core
By working together everyone achieves more
We are the lions, we are the lions
We are the lions of Lafayette
What you have taught us we never will forget
We are the lions of Lafayette
In our hearts there’ll always be a place for this old school
Where we have learned to live, by the golden rule
One day we’ll look back when we’re leaders of this nation
And realize Lafayette gave us a strong foundation
We are the lions, we are the lions
We are the lions of Lafayette
What you have taught us we never will forget
We are the lions of Lafayette
The mighty Lions
We are the lions of Lafayette
