PTO PRESIDENTS MARCH NEWSLETTER NOW ONLINE
Randall Carter professionals understand that each student is a unique individual. We are ready to assist every student in the quest to learn. Our school personnel believe that each student has the potential to learn, and we encourage and support his/her efforts. We acknowledge our importance to every student's progress, and we are willing to do all that we can to enable that child to be successful.
Our teaching strategies are not limited to rote memorization, or text reading. We make every effort to use audio, visual and hands-on lessons as the norm, rather than the exception. We are aware of the importance of technology for our students to be successful. Our purpose is to reach every student in our trust, and we are dedicated to that purpose.
Highly Qualified Teacher Status
The federal law, called No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requires teachers to be “highly qualified” in the subjects they teach. As parents you have the right to inquire about the qualifications and the “HQT” status of your child’s teacher. At Randall Carter Elementary School every classroom has a “Highly Qualified Teacher” who is dedicated to the success of each child. I encourage you to continue to support your child’s education and communicate with his or her teacher on a regular basis. By partnering with your child’s teacher, together we can provide your child with the best education possible.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Kaplan, Principal
