SCHOOL REOPENS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH

ICE CREAM SOCIAL- WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST- 6:00 pm

During the Ice Cream Social, the parents will have the opportunity to participate in our

"DRIVE FOR THE KIDS" EVENT

Chrysler Borough Jeep will be at our school with some of their cars for you to take

a mini-drive. For each person that participates and completes a brief questionnaire,

they will donate $10.00 to our school.

So as your children are enjoying their ice cream sundaes, help raise money for our school

by taking a quick mini-drive

Highly Qualified Teacher Status

The federal law, called No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requires teachers to be “highly qualified” in the subjects they teach. As parents you have the right to inquire about the qualifications and the “HQT” status of your child’s teacher. At Theunis Dey Elementary School every classroom has a “Highly Qualified Teacher” who is dedicated to the success of each child. I encourage you to continue to support your child’s education and communicate with his or her teacher on a regular basis.
