Congratulations to our students, Doug Costa, Layal Rustom, and Milan Barot for placing seventh in the NJIT High School Programming Contest. This is the first year Wayne Hills students have participated in the contest, which was held on April 18, 2008.
Students worked as a team to write programs and were scored according to the number of correct programs as well as the time it took to complete them. Their Computer Science teacher, Mrs. German, was very pleased with the respectable seventh place finish out of 43 teams, and is looking forward to participating again next year.
