NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND LEGISLATION

The No Child Left Behind Legislature (NCLB) maintains that parents have the right to inquire about the qualifications and HQT (Highly Qualified Teacher) status of their child's teachers.  The Wayne School District and each school system in its system are required to notify the parents annually of this right.  Wayne School District is proud to announce that all of its teachers meet the definition of Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) for the year 2009-2010.  Any parent who would like to inquire about the qualifications and HQT status of their child's teacher should contact the building principal of their child's school.
