Dear Parents & Guardians:
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year. Senior year is flying by and we need to start gearing up for our main fundraiser for project graduation. The tricky tray/fashion show will be here before we know it. We need everyone’s help and cooperation to make this event the success we know it can be for all our kids.
In this mailer you will find forms that need to be filled out and returned immediately for those who wish to participate in the fashion show. We have a great gown store with a beautiful selection and will have tuxedo stores to work with as well. Of course, all commitment fees need to be paid to participate. All information is contained in the attached forms. Please encourage your children to participate. The more participants we have the more successful the event will be. Deadline for participation in the fashion show is January 22, 2010. Ticket sales will be in early February. Check the school website: http://www.wayneschools.com/schools/high/waynevalley/project_graduation regularly as well as our Facebook page “Wayne Valley Project Graduation 2010”.
In addition to the fashion show we need to run a successful tricky tray auction to raise enough funds to meet our goal. At this time we would like to ask that anyone who can make a donation of a complete basket (or new, unused goods which we will use to make a basket) valued at $75 or more (or whatever you can). We will also be printing an ad book and would like to sell as many ads as possible as another source of funds (anyone who donates items valued at $75 or more will receive a free full page ad). If you would like to purchase an ad or know someone who might, we would appreciate your help here as well (ad forms are enclosed). Donations are tax deductible as applicable under the law. Contact Kathy, Cathy or Dawn to arrange basket donations.
Please note the permission slip/hold harmless agreement for all project graduation activities. It needs to be signed on both sides. This is a requirement for participation in all activities pertaining to project graduation. Please return with model/usher form.
Please take this time to look over all the attachments and fill in your forms and return them ASAP. We are all looking forward to working with you and your children to make this the best senior fashion show ever. Thank you all in advance for all your help and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Project Graduation 2010 Committee
