WV Beautification News

When you visit Wayne Valley, please take note of the efforts made to beautify our school over the past 2 years. Generous contributions from student families, the Student Dance Association (SDA), the Exxon Corporation, and the PTO have allowed us to purchase:

- Benches at the front of the school outside the band entrance
- Wood carved sign at gym entrance (side rear of school)
- Illumination for "Wayne Valley High School" letters on front on school and flagpole
- Student artwork in lobby and gym hallway
- Custom street banners on telephone and street light poles at exits/entrances and parking lots.

Planned additional projects, for which completion is dependent on donations, include:

- New Wayne Valley High School lettering on front of school (Valley Road entrance). Replace lettering on building brick face with larger, more legible letters.
- New Wayne Valley High School Sign for back of field hockey scoreboard
- Vinyl banners in school lobby listing all clubs and sports
- Additional student artwork to hallways/cafeterias

With continued support from WV families and organizations, we can achieve these goals and continue to improve the school's appearance, fostering school spirit, pride and a sense of community.
