Chorus meets everyday.  This year, the sixth and seventh grades are combined, and the eighth grade has a separate chorus.  Throughout the year, both choruses rehearse a variety of music in preparation for several public performances.  In addition, the students learn how to read music and apply various vocal and breathing techniques that will enable them to become better singers.  

The Holiday Concert is presented at AW in December, which includes both choruses and many group and solo performances.  The students also perform at an all-school assembly for the student body.  

During the second half of the year, the students rehearse for their choir festival, which is combined with a trip to a Broadway show.  Two judges evaluate our performance and awards are given accordingly.  The Anthony Wayne singers always perform brilliantly!  

In June, both choirs perform a spring concert and participate in the 8th grade promotion ceremony.
