Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
It is with great excitement and pleasure that I join the George Washington community of learners. I started my new position as the Assistant Principal on July 1, 2008. Prior to this, I taught for ten years at Randolph Middle School in Randolph Township, New Jersey.
Teaching middle school youngsters was both an honor and a privilege. Most of my tenure was spent as an 8th grade World History teacher. Through district and school initiatives, I instructed 6th grade reading and 8th grade literacy for one school year.
I truly believe the beauty of education is that we adults continue to learn from the students. I look forward to the life lessons the students will teach me as I embark on this new journey.
While the office has been a busy place gearing up for the new school year, I can’t help but wish September was here and the classrooms were buzzing with activities.
I wish you rest and relaxation as the summer continues.
Feel free to stop in and introduce yourselves. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you in the next few months.
Most Sincerely,
Mrs. Susan Wardell
Assistant Principal
George Washington Middle School
