Welcome to the 7th Grade Washington Team.   Mission Statement: It is our belief that as teachers on the 7-W team, we should be preparing our students for the expectations of their 8th grade teachers as well as for their futures, by stressing the importance of being responsible and self-sufficient students. We will work throughout the year to accomplish this goal.    Student goals: Students will understand the high standard of work expected from them and continue to produce a quality of work that is consistent with this standard. Students and teachers will foster an environment of respect and tolerance among their team members and school community. Students and teachers will focus on keeping school work organized. Students will understand the importance of having required materials and supplies at all times making for a more productive and rewarding class experience.    

Team Activities:  

• Town meetings to develop sense of community.
• Interdisciplinary units/projects to link academic subjects and develop cooperative learning.
• To incorporate technology into team projects    

7-W Team Code of Conduct:

• Come prepared for learning and always strive to do our personal best
• Help create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Act responsibly and accept consequences for our actions
• Strive to be a positive role model for all younger students
