Red Team

The Sixth Grade Teams will create an atmosphere to allow our students to have a successful transition from the elementary level to the middle school level.  Our mission is to foster the development of each individual student's intellectual, emotional, and social growth.  We will work toward this goal as team teachers by encouraging students to take an active role in the learning process.  The team will promote each student's awareness of being  responsible and caring individuals who have respect not only for themselves but for others.

Team Activities:

1. Town meetings to develop sense of community.
2. Interdisciplinary units/projects to link academic subjects and develop cooperative learning.
3. Team field trips and activities to enrich interdisciplinary units.
   Instill community service through team activities.
4. To incorporate technology into team projects.
