Mrs. Bardi's Lesson Plans

The following lesson plans will enable teachers in high school, grades 9 - 12 meet the New Jersey Technology Standards 8.1 , the National Educational Technology Standards , and the NJCCC Standards for History, English, Science, Technology Education, Special Education, and Foreign Language. Many types of technology including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher, Inspiration, creating web pages, using the Internet, and online databases are an integral part of the lessons.

• A list of student expectations itemizes the specific New Jersey Technology Standards included in each lesson, the type of technology used, and the specific project that should be created in the student produced artifact.
• In addition, a chart follows the explanation summarizing the technology standards, project, and topic for each lesson.
• The rubric includes the description of the technology standards that are to be shown in the artifact. An explanation of the grading process is given based on the completed project. Those standards which cannot be measured by the artifact have a designation of NA. Two student samples are provided as well as the average of the two students.
• A comprehensive teacher technology survey can be reviewed to understand which lessons are appropriate for a particular class based on student ability and the individual teacher's ability. Any lesson may be modified to suit your individual grade, subject, or level of student.
