Student Library Visitation Agreement

I agree to follow the library rules and regulations during my visit.

1. Report on time. Remain the entire class period. A signed pass from Guidance, the nurse, or the Administrative offices is the only way I will visit those offices.

2. Sign in on the appropriate study hall sheet.

3. I have school work to do during my visit

4. Refrain from bringing and using CD players, headphones, IPods, cards or other games, etc. Refrain from wearing hats or using cell phones.

5. Refrain from bringing backpacks, eating, drinking, or chewing gum, etc.

6. Computers, when available, are for research and not for playing games, chatting, AIM, video broadcasts, or idle surfing.  To use a computer, students are to sign in at the teacher's table or with the librarian.  Printing is for school related papers only.

7. The library will remain quiet.

8. I will be sent back to study if I do not follow the policies and procedures.

First infraction:  Improper use of the computer: Off the computer. Choosing to follow other directives than the above procedures will result in a one week suspension from visiting the library.

Second infraction: Two week suspension from visiting the library.

Third infraction: One month suspension from visiting the library.
