June 14, 2019 Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students: After many years of work and evaluation, our high schools are in position to open the next school year with a block schedule. The block schedule is an exciting change that will provide our students and teachers a number of benefits, but it comes with expectations for additional academic responsibility because a block schedule resembles what high school students will experience in college due to the fact that classes do not meet every day.

High School Graduation Assessments Requirements **Updated**
Below you will find the link to the current High School Graduation Assessments Requirements.
On June 5, 2019, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) updated the high school graduation assessment requirements in both English Language Arts/Literacy (ELA) and mathematics for the Classes of 2019 through 2022, pursuant to an amended Consent Order from the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Safety Town will be offered July 8th to August 2nd. The one week program, held at James Fallon Elementary School, allows children entering Kindergarten in September 2019 to participate in fun activities about safety in their home, community, and school. Registration is open for all four weeks.
