Yearbook Ordering
If you are interested in ordering a Wayne Valley yearbook, the deadline is January 15. Go to yearbookordercenter.com and enter code 5259 to purchase a book online, as well as name plates and autograph supplements. The deadline to create a senior ad is February 29. (This is for seniors only.) Senior ads generally consist of photographs and a message to your child. They can be designed and purchased on yearbookordercenter.com as well, by entering code 5259. Senior Parking
Senior Parking Pass Permit Registration:
Seniors wishing to receive a parking permit for the 2022/23 school year can register using the Student Parking Form. You must use your wayneschools email when registering. You will need to provide the following information: name, address, driver’s license number, make and model of the vehicle, license plate number, owner of the car, insurance information, partner, and preferred parking lot (200 or 500). Only students who have an abbreviated day (Structured Learning Experience, CD III, or Senior Internship) will be eligible for single person parking spots and will pay $50.00 instead of $25.00. Parking is limited and there will be no other exceptions. Payments must be submitted using Community Pass.You may pick up your parking decal at the courtyard office on Thursday, August 25th or Monday, August 29th from 8am- 2pm. You must have your receipt of payment from Community Pass and have completed the Student Parking Form with all required signed forms.

Board of Education Recognizes 2023-2024 Governor's Educators of the Year
(Wayne, New Jersey) – The Wayne Board of Education proudly recognized the Governor’s Educator of the Year at the February 22nd regular meeting. Assistant Superintendent Donna Reichman recognized a total of 30 educators. In recognizing the teachers, Mrs. Reichman said, “Congratulations to our winners for their unconditional commitment and dedication to our students and the Wayne school community. You inspire our students daily with your creativity, innovative practices, kindness, and care. Your outstanding work to support our students teaches them some of the most important life lessons and helps shape their future.”

Preschool Placement Requests Now Open at Preakness Early Childhood Center
(Wayne, NJ) - The Wayne School District is excited to announce that the Preakness Early Childhood Center will begin accepting preschool placement requests starting Friday, February 16th. This opportunity is open exclusively to parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children for the upcoming preschool year. To submit a placement request, please visit the district website at https://www.wayneschools.com/pecc starting February 16th. Eligibility for preschool kindergarten in September 2024 requires children to be 3 years of age on or before October 15, 2024, per District Policy 5112 - Entrance Age.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - March 12, 2024 Election Day - Schools Closed
Due to the upcoming Bond Referendum Election on Tuesday, March 12th being a scheduled school day, and with the safety and security of our students and staff in mind, Wayne Township Public Schools will use one of our four emergency days for the 2023-2024 school year to close schools on March 12th.

January is School Board Recognition Month in New Jersey
(Wayne, New Jersey) On January 18, 2024, the Wayne Board of Education called on citizens to continue working together to advance the education of all students, as it recognized the contributions of colleagues throughout the state during School Board Recognition Month in New Jersey.

Wayne Township Board of Education Reorganizes
(Wayne, NJ) – At the reorganization meeting of the Wayne Township Board of Education, held on January 4th, two new Board members, Mark Faber and Wendy Limandri, were seated based on the results of the November general election. Incumbent Donald Pavlak, Jr. was also sworn in after his successful re-election campaign in November. The three Board members took their seats on the Board after taking the oath of office.

2024-2025 School Year Registration for Kindergarten and New First Grade Students
(Wayne, New Jersey) Registration will take place through each elementary school beginning February 9th. Only a parent or guardian may enroll the child. Please go to the district website (www.wayneschools.com) between February 9th and February 29, 2024 to complete the online registration process.
