  • Lego Man Legos Needed

    Our Media Center will be opening a dedicated area to Maker Space and S.T.E.M activities! This exciting new part of our Library Media Center program will host a variety of science and engineering activities along with other hands-on learning adventures. We are currently looking for gently used Legos. If you would like to donate any Legos, please send them in a plastic bag labeled: Miss M. - Media Center. Thank you!

  • SAVE THE DATE: 2019 Annual "Community Forum" - Letter from Mayor Christopher Vergano and Superintendent Dr. Mark Toback

    Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mark Toback, and Mayor Christopher Vergano are proud to be sponsoring the annual “Community Forum”. This anti-drug initiative is specifically designed to provide parents and guardians of middle and high school students with updated information about the most current drug trends including opiates and prescription drug abuse in our community and New Jersey. This year’s “Community Forum” is graciously sponsored by the Wayne Education Association, the Albert Anthony Kayal Foundation and the Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse and will be held on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 from 7pm-9pm at the Wayne Valley High School auditorium located at 551 Valley Road. This year’s program will feature former pro basketball player Chris Herren who will speak about his addiction and recovery.

  • Board of Education Recognizes Elementary Robotics Team

    At the regular meeting of the Wayne Board of Education held on May 16th, board members enjoyed an impressive demonstration carried out by students from the newly formed elementary robotics team. During their robotics demonstration, students showed how the robot they built was able to navigate a challenging course. The robot was successful and it made a series of turns as it moved through the course.

  • SAVE THE DATE: WAYNE DAY - SUNDAY - JUNE 9, 2019

    The annual Wayne Day event is being held at the open grass fields behind Wayne Valley High School, 551 Valley Road, on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. rain or shine. This year marks the 27th anniversary of Wayne Day and will prove to be a spectacular day for all who attend. The day will be filled with live music, kiddie rides, dunk tank participation, a petting zoo, reptile viewing zoo, and pony rides. In addition, there will be magician shows and BMX Bicycle Stunt Ramp shows.

  • Annual K-12 Wayne Township Public Schools' Art Exhibit - June 9, 2019

    In partnership with the Laurelwood Arboretum Education Committee, the Wayne Township Public School District is exhibiting a sample of student art from all 14 schools. The exhibit showcases student achievement at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. An exciting addition to the show is a district-wide TV video montage produced by Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley seniors. The TV production will be unveiled to the community as a celebration of the students, with interviews that provide reflections on the arts across student academic experiences.

  • Both Wayne High Schools Ranked Among the Best

    The Wayne Township Public Schools are proud to announce that when US News and World Report released their 2019 Best High School Rankings, both Wayne high schools were included among the best high schools in New Jersey and the United States. Wayne Valley was ranked 94th among 438 high schools in New Jersey and 2,232nd among 17,245 high schools from across the United States.
