    Hello Randall Carter Parents and Guardians, Your child's independent reading level informs you of your child’s “just right’ reading level, a level where your child can read comfortably with fluency and understanding.     September 13, 2019 - Dear Parents and Guardians: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7C-6.6, school districts are required each year by October 1 to provide notification to parents and guardians regarding information on any state assessment or commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered in the school district during the current school year.   • Mr. Patrick Slater Named Passaic County Teacher of the Year

    (Wayne, NJ) – The Wayne Township Public Schools are proud to share that Patrick Slater, a longtime Technology Teacher at Wayne Valley High School, was named the 2019-2020 Passaic County Teacher of the Year by the New Jersey Department of Education. Mr. Slater enjoys learning new things and helping others do the same. He spent the past two decades teaching in environments ranging from an inner-city middle school to an Ivy League graduate program. He dedicated his career to developing high-quality classes to introduce high school students to design, visualization, and technology. He is also a former track coach where he specialized in the hurdle events.

    Preparation has begun for the 2019-2020 school year, and the new Back to School student forms packet is available. For the 2019-2020 school year, Wayne Township Public Schools will utilize OnCourse Connect to manage our Back to School Form process. This means parents will no longer have to complete the many forms sent home. Please read through all the important information below. All District Policy form acknowledgements will NOW BE COMPLETED ONLINE and Student/Parent/Guardian/Emergency Contact information can be CHANGED ONLINE in a two step process.
