  • Mrs. Courtney Duin-Savastano Appointed as Principal of Anthony Wayne Middle School

    (Wayne, New Jersey) - The Wayne Township Board of Education is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Courtney Duin-Savastano, as Principal of Anthony Wayne Middle School. Mrs. Duin-Savastano began her teaching career in Franklin Lakes after graduating from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology and a concentration in Early Childhood education. While teaching various grades at Woodside Avenue Elementary School, Mrs. Duin-Savastano returned to Ramapo College to earn her first Master’s Degree in Educational Technology. After nine years in Franklin Lakes, Mrs. Duin-Savastano temporarily stepped away from teaching to raise her two boys, born two years apart.

    The Wayne Township Public School District received its ninth consecutive Certificate of Excellence Award in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.
