  • SAVE THE DATE: Letter from the Superintendent and Mayor - Wayne's Community Forum

May 3, 2021 - Dear Parents and Guardians of Middle School and High School Students: Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mark Toback, and I are sponsoring our annual “Community Forum”. This anti-drug initiative is specifically designed to provide parents and guardians of middle and high school students with updated information about the most current drug trends including opiates and prescription drug abuse in our community and New Jersey. The Superintendent and I believe that effective communication and education can help Township residents to overcome this most challenging issue. I believe as your Mayor that this is the most important issue facing the young population of our community. For that reason, we strongly encourage you and your middle and high school aged children to attend this very important event.

  • We have been celebrating spirit days this week in anticipation of our Pennies for Patients Campaign which officially begins on Monday, March 1st.  Our students will be creating their own donation pages in class on Monday. We are looking forward to our continuing endeavor to join as a community and support others as they battle the devastating impact of blood cancers. This year’s campaign we are dedicating our efforts in honor of one of our community members, Lindsay Slider.  Lindsay graduated from Wayne Valley in 2020 and is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma.  Recognizing the devastation that these diseases cause for families has steered our mission and this year we are proud to honor Lindsay and her family as we work to raise awareness and monetary support towards another research grant.  Schuyler is at it's best when working together to help others.

*We are not raising funds for Lindsay. We are raising funds for LLS in Lindsay's honor.*
