OnCourse Connect FAQs

  • OnCourse Connect is a secure web based portal allows parents, guardians and students to view student information in real time, including: student schedules, grades, attendance, and homework. It is also the place to complete the annual enrollment and to provide contact information changes during the school year.

    Q: What is the address for the OnCourse Connect Parent Login?
    A: http://wayne.oncourseconnect.com

    Q: How do I get to OnCourse Connect?:  
    A: Click the blue "A+" icon on the right-hand side of the district or school webpage or go to FAMILY LINKS > OnCourse Connect.

    Q: How do I get an account for OnCourse Connect?
    A: If you are the guardian of a new student to the district, you can obtain your OnCourse Connect account using the Forgot Password feature located on the bottom of the login screen. Click here for more detailed directions.

    Q: Every time I try to log into OnCourse Connect, I am asked to change my password.
    A: The system does NOT require you to change your password every time during login. This issue indicates that a step of the process is being done incorrectly (putting in your parent ID incorrectly or in the wrong place). Please click here to review these directions. 

    Q: How do I update student or parent/guardian information during the school year?
    A: To change information for your student, Primary Guardians or Emergency Contacts, please log into OnCourse Connect with your parent/guardian ID. Click here for further instructions.

    Q: How do I complete the annual registration update?
    A: Parents/guardians of returning students will log into OnCourse Connect to complete the annual enrollment update. This will be done once a year during the summer. Instructions will be sent directing parents/guardians to complete this process.

    Q: I am a student. Can I complete the annual registration?
    A: No. The annual registration is only available to primary guardian accounts and MUST be completed by the parent/guardian. If your parent/guardian has not completed the annual registration, you will not be able to access your schedule for the new school year.

    Q: Can OnCourse Connect be translated to other languages?

    Q: I have received the message "Your district is not set up to login via this page":
    A: You are on the wrong logon page. Please click the blue "A+" icon on the right-hand side of the district or school webpage.

    Q: I am using Internet Explorer to log onto OnCourse Connect and I am having issues.
    A: Please use Chrome or Firefox to log onto OnCourse Connect. Internet Explorer has known problems.

    Q: I need assistance with OnCourse Connect.
    A: Please use Let's Talk! and select OnCourse Connect. Please be advised that during certain times of the year, we experience high volumes of support requests. Emails are answered in the order they are received and as quickly as possible. When you submit a Let's Talk!, please supply your full name, your student's name, and the exact problem (be as specific as possible). Screenshots are extremely helpful. OnCourse Connect User Guide
