Technology Resources

  • The Technology department offers many types of training resources to help our staff stay current with existing and emerging technologies, including hands-on classes, online training, how-to videos, documentation and more.

     

    • WTPS Employee Information Technology Handbook: A quick-reference guide on how to access and log on to your computer, email, help desk, and many more district systems and resources. (Updated 7/25/18) To print from Chrome: choose "Print using system dialog," change Printer Settings to 2-sided print, Flip on the short edge.

    • New WTPS Back to School Cheat Sheet 18-19:  District information on OnCourse, Attendance Coding, Report Card Schedules, Posting to WTPS Media, 18-19 NJSMART reporting, help with district programs, new apps and more. (updated 10/01/18)

    • Update Attendence Coding Sheet 18-19: Please read for information on how to code student absences.  This is critical for State Reporting throughout the year.

    • OnCourse: Common Questions about the student information system

    • OnCourse Teacher Handbook: A quick-reference guide for how to use some of the tools within OnCourse. For additional training, please use the OnCourse University icon when logged in. 

    • New Employee Tutorials: A brief video tutorial of some of the most common programs used in the schools.

    • My Learning Plan: MyLearningPlan OASYS is a web-based Observation and Appraisal Management System that offers district leaders fast and easy scheduling, managing, completing, and reporting of all components of the evaluation process for teachers, principals, and administrators.

    • Google Apps For Education: User guides and helpful hints on using Google Apps For Education (GAFE)

    • Remote Access: Access to district resources

    • Wayne Township Learning Center: Visit to view and register for classes offered in various technologies and skill levels for teachers, office professionals, and staff.

    • Exiting Employee Technology Checklist. If you are an employee leaving the district you will need to transfer ownership of your GAFE files prior to your departure, return equipment, and may want to take your digital belongings with you.  This checklist provides information and guides to walk you through the process.
