We understand this is a challenging time and we thank you for your patience as we navigate these unprecedented circumstances. We have been monitoring the news all weekend, and as updated information and guidance is presented, we continue to make decisions with the prioritization of our students and staff in mind.
Schools will remain open tomorrow for a minimal day schedule. All buildings have been internally disinfected over the weekend, and we have taken every necessary precaution to open tomorrow.
We have heard from many parents, and recognize that many families would prefer to keep their children home tomorrow. We understand and are in full support of parents/guardians using personal discretion when deciding whether or not to send children to school tomorrow. We are fully prepared to begin Distance Learning on Thursday, March 19th.
All materials and resources will be available online for parents/students to download at home by the end of the day Monday, and hard copy packets will also be available for pickup at each elementary school. Building principals will continue to communicate and provide more detailed information.
Any parents who requested a device will be contacted separately by our Technology Department.
