Important Message from Dr. Toback 3/18/2020

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
Tomorrow we will be embarking on a new journey together.  Adding to the uncertainty is the fact that we are embarking unexpectedly and without much advance notice.  However, based on a tremendous effort by all of our employees and the cooperation of each school community, our district is ready for this journey and we look forward to working with you to make sure distance learning works for all of our students.  Our principals, teachers, counselors and other members of the instructional staff stand at the ready to provide the same excellent education you have come to expect and almost all of the services your children are accustomed to receiving are still available.  In order to gain a better understanding of how distance learning is working, we will be sharing a Thoughtexchange on Friday and you will be able to provide us with your feedback.  Please consider letting us know how things are going for you and your child(ren).  You are welcome to let us know if things are going well and we are also happy for any suggestions for how we might be able to do better.
Based on the success of our distribution of elementary packets and the ability to download these packets, the schools will not be open on Thursday except by appointment.  If there is something needed that was perhaps forgotten at school, please send an email to your building principal and arrangements will be made for you to receive any needed items.  Also, if you have questions, we recently posted an updated FAQ on the website.  We will continue to update and revise this document as new information becomes available.   Each week will continue to distribute our weekly newsletter to keep you informed about all of the happenings in the district.  Please follow our social media accounts because you will see that we will use each channel extensively in an effort to showcase our students and staff.
It's time to go!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to write to me at
