Letter from the Superintendent - District Testing Update

January 25, 2019

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students:

The end of January usually marks a time when we receive a flood of correspondence from parents regarding their desire to not have their children participate in the New Jersey Department of Education standardized testing program.  With the 2015 transition to a computer-based testing program (PARCC) and the resulting skepticism over the use and sharing of student data, the widespread unpopularity of the Common Core State Standards and other state-mandated reforms, and a host of other problems too numerous to list, parents and students had many reasons to be concerned.  Please click here for the complete letter.  Please click here for the updated 2018-2019 District-wide Calendar.
