ROCK BAND CLUB: Mr. Maher

Please see Mr. Maher directly if you are interested in this club.

The AWMS Rock Band Club has existed in various forms since 2019. The club primarily caters to students who have some experience playing a "rock" instrument (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards) or those who wish to serve as a singer. Throughout the course of the school year, students will use club time to talk about music history and concepts, and to learn a set list of songs which can be performed together in a band setting. This is a similar approach to what some students experience outside of school in programs like School of Rock. One goal of the club is working towards some form of performance towards the end of the school year.
