WHAT: The Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA) is a positive reinforcement method designed to help children channel their energy successfully. The Nurtured Heart Approach® has been shown to be effective in helping all children and families build inner wealth, including those diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and other behavioral, emotional and academic struggles.

The Board of Education at its regular schedule Board Meeting of February 6, 2025, approved the Superintendent's recommendation to revise the 2024-2025 District School Calendar, previously approved on December 21, 2023. This change was brought forward from Governor Murphy, who signed into law legislation rescheduling the June 2025 Primary Election from June 3, 2025 to June 10, 2025. https://trst.in/TTESJH

Due to the inclement weather, all Wayne Township Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 6, 2025. All after-school and evening activities will also be canceled.
Tonight's BOE will be held as scheduled.

On January 16, 2025, the Wayne Board of Education called on citizens to continue working together to advance the education of all students, as it recognized the contributions of colleagues throughout the state during School Board Recognition Month in New Jersey.
