Wayne Township Public Schools will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25.

This decision is due to a lower-accumulation snowstorm expected to move through our area between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM. While we do not anticipate significant snowfall totals, there will be decreased visibility and slippery surfaces. The delayed opening will allow for our students and staff to travel to school safely and cautiously.

The safety of our school community remains our like you just don’t care highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we take proactive steps to ensure a safe start to the school day.

90 minute delayed opening 2/25/26
Wayne Township Public Schools will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We ask that everyone proceed with caution during the morning commute. No students or staff members will face consequences for being late traveling to school.

As always, we will continue to monitor conditions throughout the evening and early morning hours. Families are encouraged to have a backup plan in place in the event that changing overnight conditions necessitate a full school closure.

Thank you for your continued partnership, flexibility, and commitment to safety.
