Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you are enjoying a wonderful summer. As the new principal of Lafayette Elementary School, I am excited to welcome you and your children to the upcoming school year. My first day with the students is eagerly anticipated, and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of them.
Thursday, September 5th is the first day of school and marks the beginning of a new school year. We are so excited to welcome everyone back for what will be a fantastic year! Please take a moment to review the following information to ensure that you are ready for the first day of school.
PTO Ice Cream Social - September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. on the blacktop.
Back to School Forms - MUST be completed in OnCourse via the guardians section in order to get your childโs teacher. Schedules will be released for all elementary schools after 3:00 PM on August 28th. Middle school and high school schedules will be released after 3:00 PM on August 27th and August 23rd, respectively.
Dismissal Form - MUST be completed and returned by August 28th

Snack - Students should bring a healthy snack to school every day.
Chromebooks - Students in Grades 2 - 5 should bring their charged chromebooks to school on the first day.
General Procedures- please read through so you are prepared for the first day of school.
