Dear Faculty and Parents,
The Wayne Education Foundation (WEF), a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience within our community, has made an incredible impact on our schools. Through your support of the WEF Summer Camp Program and past Gala events, the Foundation has been able to donate nearly $500,000 to the Wayne Township Public Schools. These funds have helped advance programs in STEM, Culinary Arts, Music, Theater, Wellness, Special Services, and more.
We invite you to join us in furthering these efforts by attending the 2024 WEF Denim & Diamonds "ALLumni" Gala, which will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at The Brownstone. The evening will feature live music by Steppin’ Out, dinner, dancing, an open bar, and a Silent Auction. I am also excited to share that each school’s principal has contributed a special school-specific prize to be included in the auction.
This year, the Gala will shine a spotlight on Wayne School Alumni as we celebrate the unique role our schools and community play in shaping student success. It's a great opportunity to unite as one community, with attendees from all 15 schools coming together to celebrate our students, teachers, administrators, parents, and supporters of public education.
The proceeds from the 2024 Gala will be dedicated to developing new programs that support students as they transition between school levels from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, and high school to college.
