Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce the continuation of the WVHS National Honor Society's Kids Helping Kids Tutoring Program. This program provides free tutoring services to students in our community.
Please see the flyer for more information about the program, including the schedule, location, and subjects offered.
Please note that as this is a volunteer service program, there may be occasional days when we are unable to fill all tutoring spots and must therefore cancel. To stay updated on the availability of tutoring sessions, please visit the website listed on the flyer (you can also scan the QR code). There is a Google Sheet embedded on the website that will provide a live update of the tutoring sessions running each week.
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise and volunteers may need to cancel last minute, but we expect this to be the exception rather than the norm. As this is a new solution, we appreciate your patience as we work through any potential issues.
According to the Wayne Public Library's policies, children should be accompanied by a guardian when they are in the Library. Our student volunteers are there to help with academic work. Any children who do not have academic work to complete may be asked to leave, and their guardian should be present at the Library in such a case.
We hope that this program will be a valuable resource for our community.
