Future Ready Schools Advisory Committee

The Wayne Township Board of Education is seeking community members to serve on the Future Ready Schools Advisory Committee.

This advisory committee will provide an opportunity for residents to be directly involved in reviewing and discussing important topics related to the future of Wayne Township Public Schools, including:

  • School capacity and facility utilization

  • Enrollment trends and projections

  • The impact of residential growth and development on district schools

  • Long-range planning considerations

The committee will serve in a strictly advisory role and will provide non-binding feedback to the Board of Education.

Membership

The committee will consist of 12 to 15 members representing a broad cross-section of the Wayne community, including but not limited to:

  • Parents of current students

  • Parents of future students

  • Community members

  • Business representatives

  • Senior citizens

Meeting Commitment

Members should be available to attend periodic meetings, typically lasting 60-90 minutes, and would be willing to review materials in advance and participate in constructive discussions.

Monday, April 13, 2026 and the application process will close on Wednesday, April 22nd at 3:00 pm.

Selection Process

Committee members will be appointed by the Board of Education with the goal of ensuring balanced community representation.
