On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Mrs. Iannacco and Mr. Martinez together with our Senior Italian students, Nico Erminio, Max Giovaniello, Evan Martino and Peter Varano, had the opportunity to attend the inaugural INSIEME Fall Congress, organized by UNICO National and held at County College of Morris.
The experience allowed our students to connect with Italian students and educators from across the region while celebrating the Italian language, culture, heritage, leadership, and service. They were introduced to opportunities for leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and cultural engagement beyond the classroom.
Through UNICO’s INSIEME program, students can also access scholarship opportunities, while teachers and Italian language programs can benefit from grants and educational support. These opportunities can help students pursue their academic goals and enable educators to create enriching cultural and educational experiences.
For Mrs. Iannacco and her senior students, the Congress was a meaningful opportunity to discover how the study of Italian can extend far beyond the classroom—opening doors to new connections, leadership, service, scholarships, and continued engagement with Italian language and culture.
