FBLA gives countless opportunities to its members, to name a few:
Traveling- Every year there is a State Leadership Conference in Atlantic City, where you can compete and win awards, and a National Leadership Conference, this year it is in Anaheim, California!
Looks Great on College Applications- FBLA can distinguish you from other candidates, giving you a more diverse application!
Scholarship opportunities- Last year, NJ FBLA gave away $9,000 in scholarships! If you apply for one, that could be you winning free money for college!
Community Service- FBLA’s national partner is March of Dimes! Not only are you helping your community, but you are helping hundreds of thousands of people worldwide by participating in community service activities

Conferences - Competitive Events
What is it?
The State Leadership Conference, often referred to as States or the SLC, is an annual conference where FBLA chapters from the state of New Jersey gather. It hosts workshops, competitions, and ample opportunities for useful networking. The SLC is a two-day overnight event, previously hosted in the East Brunswick Hilton Hotel The SLC will be hosted in Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City. The dates are March 20-22nd.
