We are excited to extend our warm invitation for you and a guest to the annual Community Forum and dinner, hosted by Mayor Chris Vergano and Superintendent Dr. Mark Toback and generous funding from the Wayne Education Association, on May 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Cosmopolitan.
This year's theme, "Building Resilience in Wayne Families," underscores the importance of supporting and nurturing the well-being of our families. In today's fast-paced world, resilience is a crucial quality that helps us navigate challenges and emerge stronger.
We are honored to announce that the keynote speaker for the evening will be the JCK Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for those in need. Their insights and experiences will undoubtedly provide valuable tools to support your family's resilience journey.

As a result, we will have an expanded Memorial Day Break. We will use the last Emergency Day to close the schools on Friday, May 24th, as long as we do not need the remaining emergency day for some other type of emergency. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
